What it is

Distribution that ends in published links, not a mailing list.

Press release distribution is how a company announcement reaches the newsrooms and news sites that publish it. Most services stop at sending: your release goes to a contact database, and whatever runs, runs.

IPRD works the other way round. Each release is edited for the desk it is going to, syndicated through national newswires to their subscriber outlets, and tracked until it is live. You receive a report with every published link.

There are two routes. Sponsored syndication guarantees that your release is published, in your words. Organic distribution pitches it to journalists as news through media relations, so the coverage is editorial and earned. Many campaigns use both.

Products

Pick the route your story needs.

Seven named products across three routes. Sponsored tiers start from ₹11,999 + GST; the rest are quoted to scope. Every product closes with a distribution report.

Included

What every release includes.

Editorial review

We check the news angle, headline and facts before anything goes out, and tell you if the story needs a stronger hook.

Engineered variants

Versions of the release written for different outlets and search intents, so syndicated copies are not identical duplicates.

AEO and GEO build

Structure, entities and quotable facts that help AI search and answer engines cite your announcement (MultiWire and DiscoveryWire). How a citation-ready release is built.

Newswire syndication

Distribution through ANI, PTI or IANS to their subscriber networks, timed for the right news cycle.

24-48 hour turnaround

From approved copy to live links, on every sponsored product.

Distribution report

Every live link and outlet in one report, white-labelled on request for agencies.

AI search

Built to be cited by AI answers.

ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews read the same wire pickups your buyers do. MultiWire and DiscoveryWire releases carry one consistent company description, a named idea the engines can repeat, and questions answered the way people ask them. On a programme, we then check what the answers say.

How it works

From brief to live links.

  1. 01

    Brief

Share the announcement, the audience and the outlets that matter. A draft release is enough to start.

  2. 02

    Shape

We recommend the route, edit the release and engineer the variants. You approve the final copy.

  3. 03

    Distribute

The release goes out through the wires and direct outreach, timed to the news cycle.

  4. 04

    Report

You receive every live link in a distribution report, usually within 48 hours.

Choosing a route

Sponsored or organic: which one?

Sponsored syndication gives you control: your wording, a guaranteed run, a known timeline. Organic distribution gives you credibility: a journalist chose to cover you. Decide by what the announcement must achieve, and by when.

SponsoredOrganic
Content controlFull; your approved copy runsEditorial; the journalist decides the angle
PlacementGuaranteedEarned, not guaranteed
Timeline24-48 hoursFollows the news cycle
CredibilityGood; labelled as per outlet policyHighest; independent coverage
Best forLaunches, funding, appointments, disclosuresStories with real news value, founder voices

Not sure? Most campaigns pair a sponsored tier for a guaranteed floor with OrganicPush for the upside. That hybrid is often the right answer for AI answers too: sponsored copies own the brand and news questions quickly, and independent coverage carries the category questions. How we choose the route.

FAQ

Press release distribution questions

What is press release distribution?

Press release distribution is the process of sending a company announcement to newswires, newsrooms and news sites so that it is published. At Indian PR Distribution (IPRD)®, a release is edited, syndicated through national newswires such as ANI, PTI and IANS to their subscriber outlets, and tracked until it is live, with every published link reported back to you.

How much does press release distribution cost in India?

It depends on the route and the reach. SingleWire Standard starts from ₹11,999 + GST, MultiWire Standard from ₹28,999 + GST and DiscoveryWire Standard from ₹45,999 + GST. DiscoveryWire Premium, OrganicPush and retainers are quoted to scope: share the announcement and we send a quote, usually within one working day.

Is media coverage guaranteed?

On sponsored products (SingleWire, MultiWire and DiscoveryWire), publication on the outlets in the product is guaranteed. On OrganicPush, coverage is earned: journalists decide whether to run the story, so it is not guaranteed, by design. Many campaigns pair the two.

How long does press release distribution take?

Sponsored products go live within 24 to 48 hours of the final copy being approved, and the distribution report follows. Organic coverage follows the news cycle and each outlet's schedule, so timelines vary.

Which newswires does IPRD distribute through?

IPRD distributes through ANI, PTI and IANS. SingleWire uses one national newswire, MultiWire and DiscoveryWire use all three, and OrganicPush uses organic syndication through ANI and PTI.

What is the difference between SingleWire, MultiWire and DiscoveryWire?

They are IPRD's sponsored syndication tiers. SingleWire places one announcement on one national newswire. MultiWire syndicates across ANI, PTI and IANS with two engineered variants and an AEO/GEO build. DiscoveryWire is the widest tier, with three to four variants, full AEO/GEO optimisation and, at the Premium level, guaranteed Tier-1 placements.

Can you write the press release for us?

Yes. We edit every release before it goes out, and we can write it from your brief, notes or an existing draft. You approve the final copy before distribution.

Can I distribute my press release in regional languages?

Yes. IPRD distributes in Bengali, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Punjabi, Odia and Assamese, with releases written natively in each language rather than machine translated.

Will my press release appear on Google News?

Indexing is decided by Google, so no one can promise it. MultiWire is scoped for 3 to 7 expected Google indexings and DiscoveryWire for 7 to 15, and both include an AEO/GEO build to improve the odds.

Do you work with PR agencies?

Yes. Agencies use IPRD for distribution under their own brand, with white-labelled distribution reports. See our partnership programme for details.
